“REBOOT” a campaign within your community, county or country to help source used devices to share with those who need them most
We know that there are 1.9million households who do not have access to the internet today and that are digitally excluded. In addition to DevicesDotNow providing new devices to communities, we have worked hard to understand the key steps and activities you would need to consider to do this in your community by refurbishing old devices. We’ve captured it step by step, welcome to the REBOOT platform.
The platform will be live very soon for you to access and to download the steps specific to your scenario (e.g. you might be a school, an academy, a community foundation wondering how to source devices to support those in your community).
The REBOOT platform will offer an insight into the key steps to consider and also provide an opportunity to collaborate with others who are doing the same, learning from each other along the way and also from those who have already started their journey.
To be the first to access REBOOT platform, please leave your name and email address and we’ll be in touch over the next 2 weeks.

Our impact so far
We’ve helped some of the UK’s most vulnerable households to get online during the first 12 weeks of the DevicesDotNow campaign. But it’s clear that there’s a long way to go to tackle the growing crisis of digital exclusion during COVID. To find out more about what we’ve achieved and what we’ll do next, please download our latest interim impact report.
The DevicesDotNow Interim Impact Report #2 looks at campaign activity between 24 March – 26 June. It outlines: our ambitions, our achievements to date, who we have reached, who we have yet to reach – and tells some of the stories from the people that have received devices.
