‘Restart to Work with Essential AI Skills’ is a digital skills and employability project that brings together our South-West regional work with the Not In Work workstream.
It is co-led by FutureDotNow, Cosmic and Accenture, and funded by the Government’s Digital Inclusion Innovation Fund.
In 2026, we’re running a proof-of-concept to test the impact of equipping ‘NEETs’ (adults not in employment, education or training) with the refreshed, AI-embedded Essential Digital Skills Framework. We’ll also develop a toolkit to help regional partners work together more effectively to improve employability and scale essential digital skills across the UK.
