Collective action is how we accelerate impact to overcome the UK’s digital skills gap.
Together, the member community, made up of individuals from a diverse set of sectors, bring with them skills knowledge and experience they want to share with others.
We are building a self-sustaining community, where it’s easy for members to identify areas of common interest, to connect, collaborate and share more easily on the solutions that make the biggest impact to digital confidence and capability.
Our approach to community is co-created with members, to understand needs, and test what works.
As a member, you can access:
FutureDotNow Community Space
Our online workspace allows you to connect directly with others, share ideas and keep up-to-date on the latest information from across the community. Using the popular platform Slack, our community space is limited to our members. If you’re already part of the coalition, just complete this very short form to get connected.
Subscribe the our newsletter to be among the first to hear about coalition events, such as our online Share and Learn sessions; who’s joining the movement; the impact our members are having; and other updates relevant to our mission. Subscribe here.
With our virtual meet-ups, delivered on Zoom, we aim to offer opportunities for our members to both learn and solve.
You’ll hear from others as they showcase their digital skills approach and work collectively on solutions to specific challenges that our memebers face in closing the digital skills gap.
You can find recordings of previous meet-ups and links to future events on our Events page.
KIT (Keep in Touch) meetings
Speak with a member of the team on your approach to digital skills, talk through your plans and how they community can help. We use our DIGI framework to get the most from the conversation. New for 2022, we’re starting to book these calls in with all of our coalition members but if you’ve not heard from a member of the team yet, get in touch to book your first KIT.
Resource Bank (coming soon)
Curated resources from across the FutureDotNow community, all in one place, to support your digital skills programme.
